Rockhampton railway station is located on the North Coast railway line in Queensland, Australia and is the terminus of the electrified section of line from Brisbane.

In 1991, Sharifov worked as the deputy chief of construction company electrifying Çerkezköy-Kapıkule railway.
The uniqueness in contrast to other Croatian electric locomotives is that it uses the 3 kV DC system, and is only deployed on the Šapjane-Rijeka-Moravice Line.
Electrification took place between Flinders Street and Box Hill in December 1922, and extended to Ringwood the following month, then Croydon in November 1925 and finally to Lilydale in October 1925.
The power system used for this isolated network was not the usual German, single-phase, electrification system, 15 kV AC, 16 2/3 Hz, but single-phase, 25 kV AC, 50 Hz, which was taken from the 110-kV state electricity network at a substation at the exit to Blankenburg with the aid of transformers.
Currently there are 107 passenger sets operating, of which nine are tri-current (25 kV 50-60 Hz AC - French lignes à grande vitesse, 1500 V DC - French lignes classiques, 15 kV 16⅔ Hz AC - Switzerland) and the rest bi-current (25 kV 50–60 Hz AC, 1500 V DC).
At about the same time, the line between Vienna and Gloggnitz was electrified.
