Most former members of the band remained musically active, playing in bands such as Ratos de Porão, B.U.S.H., O Inimigo, Les Paralleles, D.E.R. and many others.
Some of the acts performing in the 2007 edition included Andrew Tosh, Gondwana, Ratos de Porao, Hereford, Babasónicos, Attaque 77, Las Pelotas, Rata Blanca, Kapanga, Intoxicados, Las Pastillas del Abuelo, Callejeros, Carajo, Almafuerte, La 25, Los Pericos and others.
Along with the bands: Cólera, Garotos Podres, Ratos de Porão, Armagedom, Virus 27, Grinders, Rioters, Auschwitz, the album became an icon in the history of Brazilian punk.
Brazilian bands Cólera, Inocentes, Olho Seco and Ratos de Porão also played a major role in defining the band's lyrics which tried to describe the surreal political situation of Brazil in the mid 80's.
The vocalist Derrick Green of Sepultura participated on their CD Kavookavala and João Gordo of Ratos de Porão participated on their first album Raimundos (1994) providing backing vocals on the song MM's.
The album's name alludes to the Brazilian music festival O Começo do Fim do Mundo, that happened in 1982 and promoted many underground punk bands such as Ratos de Porão, Inocentes and Cólera.
