Invited by Walter Fink, he was the 14th composer featured in the annual Komponistenporträt of the Rheingau Musik Festival in 2004.

Hans-Christoph Rademann

In 2010 he conducted the RIAS Kammerchor and the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin in performances of Monteverdi's Vespro della Beata Vergine, 400 years after its premiere, including a concert at the Rheingau Musik Festival in Eberbach Abbey, with María Cristina Kiehr, Gerlinde Sämann, James Elliott, Andreas Karasiak and Harry van der Kamp.

Heinz Holliger

Invited by Walter Fink, he was the 17th composer featured in the annual Komponistenporträt of the Rheingau Musik Festival in 2007 in chamber music and a symphonic concert that he conducted himself, including works of Claude Debussy and Robert Schumann along with his Lieder after Georg Trakl and Gesänge der Frühe on words of Schumann and Friedrich Hölderlin.

RIAS Kammerchor

In 2010 the RIAS Kammerchor performed Monteverdi's Vespro della Beata Vergine, 400 years after its premiere, at the Rheingau Musik Festival in Eberbach Abbey, with María Cristina Kiehr, Gerlinde Sämann, James Elliott, Andreas Karasiak, Harry van der Kamp, the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin, conducted by Hans-Christoph Rademann.

Simon Halsey

On 31 August 2012, he stepped in as conductor for Andris Nelsons in Eberbach Abbey at the Rheingau Musik Festival.
