After a long, drawn-out light and fog show with the first track from Ridin' the Storm Out playing in the background, a sign revealing the name to be "Bureau Valley High School" was accepted positively by attendees.
"Escapade," the title track, was originally written and recorded by Hod O'Brien with Ray Drummond and Kenny Washington as an instrumental on his CD, Ridin' High under the title of "Natalie".
Ridin' the Storm Out was the band's third release with as many singers; this time Mike Murphy took the microphone.
