The museum and the station play a key role in Episode 4 of Y Gwyll (Hinterland in English) transmitted on S4C in 2013 and BBC1 Wales in January 2014.
They soon re-formed with a new singer however, they realised that with the arrival of the Welsh TV station S4C, if they changed the lyrics of their songs from English to Welsh they could make some profit.

Lisa Victoria Redwood (born 24 February 1973 in Treherbert) is a Welsh television actor best known for playing the character of Sheryl Hughes in the long-running Welsh soap Pobol y Cwm on S4C.
It also administers the National Poet for Wales post (Gwyneth Lewis – 2005, Gwyn Thomas – 2006), Bardd Plant Cymru (Gwyneth Glyn); the Welsh-language Children's Laureate joint scheme between S4C, The Welsh Books Council, the Academi and Urdd Gobaith Cymru, and in 2005, administered the Cardiff Capital Poet project (Gillian Clarke).

In the event, they were the only bidder and, after having their business plan approved, were awarded the licence to operate Multiplex A by the Independent Television Commission in 1997.
Due to the Wales Rally GB, S4C bid for and won rights to broadcast highlights from each event of the World Rally Championship.
