Sports Illustrated named Peppers one of their "Future Game Changers", a group of fourteen young athletes who are considered to be the brightest talents of their respective sport (such as Sarah Hendrickson, Jahlil Okafor, and Taylor Townsend).
She attended Park City High School until 2011 when she began competing in World Cup competitions for Ski Jumping, at which time she moved to The Winter Sports School in Park City, where she graduated in November 2012.

She also has two individual victories from the Continental Cup in Zakopane and Bischofsgrün.
