The band has played countless shows within the East Coast with acts like Face to Face, New Found Glory, Finch, Saves the Day, The Amazing Crowns, US Bombs, Big Wig, Murphy's Law, Alkaline Trio, The Queers, GOB, and many more.
Hostage Calm has toured the world extensively with such acts as Anti-Flag, Saves the Day, The Wonder Years, Streetlight Manifesto, Balance and Composure, Rival Schools and the 2011 Vans Warped Tour.
During the Sound the Alarm recording sessions, the band also recorded an EP of acoustic versions of several songs from past albums, which was sold on tour throughout 2006 as Bug Sessions Volume One.

He has worked with such artists as Face to Face, The Get Up Kids, Saves the Day, Jackson United, Faith and the Muse, Monica Richards, Senses Fail, Moneen, The Deep Eynde and Jarboe, and is a member of the remix/mash-up team The Legion of Doom and recording projects Viva Death and Real Space Noise.
On these tours Counterfit played alongside such bands as Tsunami Bomb, Saves the Day, Hot Rod Circuit, New Found Glory, Superdrag, The Mars Volta, Recover, and Finch.
Their self-released debut record, Dreams of Water, recorded with producer Marc Jacob Hudson (Two Tongues, Saves the Day), was released September 21, 2010, and received favorable reviews from critics.
Patrons attending this show were also able to purchase copies of Saves the Day's just released album Through Being Cool.
In January 2011, the band went on tour with Dashboard Confessional, and Chris Conley of Saves the Day for the west coast leg of the 10th Year Anniversary of Dashboard Confessionals debut album The Swiss Army Romance.
Telgemeier's works include a series of self-published mini-comics called Take-Out, a short story in Bizarro World for DC Comics, a short story in Volume 4 of the Flight anthology,and four graphic novel adaptations of Ann M. Martin's The Baby-sitters Club series for Scholastic/Graphix: Kristy's Great Idea, The Truth About Stacey, Mary Anne Saves the Day, and Claudia and Mean Janine.
