Adolph Ernst Kroeger (born Schwabstedt duchy of Schleswig, 28 December 1837; died St. Louis, Missouri, 8 March 1882) was a translator and author who contributed significantly to the understanding of German literature in the United States.
In the following years, Queen Margaret acquired large parts of Schleswig as security (Tønder fief, Frisland, episcopal manors in Svabsted and Stubbe) and by purchase (Trøjborg, Skinkelborg and Grødersby); King Erik took over Haderslev fief as security from the fiefholder Helene Ahlefeldt, and the queen, Flensborg.
Nicolaus Bruhns (Nikolaus, Nicholas) (late 1665 – in Schwabstedt; 29 March 1697 in Husum) was a Danish-German organist, violinist, and composer.
