Alan Leonard Broadbent, MNZM (born 23 April 1947 in Auckland, New Zealand), is a jazz pianist, arranger and composer best known for his work with artists such as Charlie Haden, Woody Herman, Chet Baker, Irene Kral, Sheila Jordan, Natalie Cole, Warne Marsh, Bud Shank, and many others.
At the Center, Julia had the opportunity to study and perform with known Americal jazz musicians, such as Evelyn Blakey, Larry Goldings, Armen Donelian, Bob Meyer, Sheila Jordan, Judi Silvano and the composer Allen Gershwin, to name a few.
More than 100 ensembles from Serbia and abroad have performed at the Novi Sad Jazz Festival for the past seven years, and nearly 600 musicians, including Johnny Griffin, Jimmy Cobb, Al Foster, Benny Bailey, Andy Bay, Tania Maria, Trilok Gurtu, Steve Coleman, Keith Copeland, Eddie Henderson, Al Di Meola, Jerry Bergonzi, Kenny Garrett, Erik Rothenstein, Sheila Jordan, and Curtis Fuller to name a few.

Faton has had the opportunity to study and to play with great musicians like Harry Pepl, Wayne Brasel, Ewald Oberleitner, Stjepko Gut, Dusko Goikivic, Mark Murphy, Sheila Jordan, Jay Clayton and Bill Dobbins.
Odman also played with a number of vocalists, including Sheila Jordan, Kevin Mahogany, Allan Harris, Mark Murphy, Deborah Davis, Ive Mendes and Hilary Kole.
The album contains performances by Russell with Garnett Brown, Paul Plummer, Don Ellis, Steve Swallow and Joe Hunt and features the recording debut of vocalist Sheila Jordan on one track.
