The CD version of the album includes numerous bonus tracks from three live performances, as well as a cover of the Shonen Knife song "Flying Jelly Attack" that had originally been released on the compilation Every Band Has a Shonen Knife Who Loves Them.
Their first album for Eastwest, Behind the Door I Keep the Universe, reached Number 8 on the CMJ College Radio charts and was followed by a six-week tour of the U.S. supporting Shonen Knife.
