The manga was originally serialized in the magazine Monthly Shōnen Jump by Shueisha.
In a May 2, 2007, letter, Shueisha announced that Claymore takes a month break but it, Gag Manga Biyori, Rosario + Vampire, and Tegami Bachi continued in Weekly Shōnen Jump until the start of the magazine Jump SQ.
