On June 3, 2007 the ballpark was the site of a world record-setting performance of the Deep Purple hit "Smoke on the Water" by 1683 guitarists, in a publicity stunt for KYYS radio (now KZPT).

Dodge Avenger

In the US, the Avenger was launched with a 30 second television ad, "Tuned Up," that debuted Sunday, March 4, 2007 during NHL hockey, an ad in which a lab technician discovers he can play Smoke on the Water by Deep Purple on the Avenger's transmission.

KDHT-FM

The stunt lasted until 3 PM the following Monday, when, after playing "Smoke on the Water" by Deep Purple, "Jack FM" returned to Denver, with "What I Like About You" by The Romantics being the first song played.

Riot in Japan – Live!!

Both pressings contain a studio version of the Deep Purple classic "Smoke on the Water", recorded at Greene St. Recording in New York during The Privilege of Power sessions and featuring a special guest appearance by The New West Horns.
