During his college years he played bass guitar with the band First Step considered the 'sister band' for the Seattle based Brotherhood, the band which included future Sunny Day Real Estate and Foo Fighters' bassist Nate Mendel.
The album marks a return to a heavier rock sound of Sunny Day Real Estate.

Return of the Frog Queen is a solo album recorded by Jeremy Enigk while on hiatus from his post as singer of Sunny Day Real Estate.
The band joined with long-time Hüsker Dü sound engineer Lou Giordano to record The Rising Tide, released in June 2000.

The band also performed at the 2010 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, and went on to play their first ever European gig on May 29 at Barcelona's Primavera Sound.
The band formed in 1997 in Southern California with Crisci and Pillar joining bassist Jason Wickersheim and drummer Louie Ruiz under the name December's Tragic Drive (derived from lyrics of the song, "Seven" by Sunny Day Real Estate).

Formed in the fall of 1995 by Simon Brody, Denny Donovan, Javin Leonard, Dave Barnett and Todd Tomlinson, the band was heavily influenced by a variety of bands including Deadguy, Unbroken, Shotmaker, Unwound, Sunny Day Real Estate and Promise Ring.
The EP is also notable as Carrabba's only recorded collaboration with former Sunny Day Real Estate guitarist Dan Hoerner.
