Ikebukuro Station

The latter line runs south toward Shinjuku and Shibuya along Meiji-dori, and offers through services to Motomachi-Chūkagai Station in Yokohama via the Tōkyū Tōyoko Line and Minatomirai Line.

Shibuya, Tokyo

The Tokyu Toyoko Line opened in 1932, making Shibuya a key terminal between Tokyo and Yokohama, and was joined by the forerunner of the Keio Inokashira Line in 1933 and the forerunner of the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line in 1938.

Tokyo Metro 10000 series

From 7 September 2012, 8-car 10000 series sets were introduced on Tōkyū Tōyoko Line and Minatomirai Line services, several months before the planned start of through-running operations.

Tokyo Metro Fukutoshin Line

From 16 March 2013, the Tōkyū Tōyoko Line moved to share the line's Shibuya terminus, enabling through services on the Minatomirai Line to Motomachi-Chūkagai Station in Yokohama.
