Annamacharya was born on Vaishakha Shuddha Pournami in the year Sarwadhari (May 9, 1408) in Tallapaka, a village in current day Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh, India.
The great devotee of Sri Rama and composer Annamacharya is associated with this legendary temple and lived in Tallapaka located nearby.
