The film follows Atwood on her unusual book tour for her novel The Year of the Flood.
In 2007, Eckler participated in a charity auction for the magazine The Walrus, paying $7,000 for the right to have a character in Margaret Atwood's novel The Year of the Flood named after her.
The novel was selected for inclusion in the 2014 edition of CBC Radio's Canada Reads, where it will be defended by Stephen Lewis.
