Charles Henry Bond

In 1908, Bond began work on the construction of a theater on Tremont Street in Boston, which was to be known as the Lyric Theatre.

Gardiner Greene

In 1803 Greene bought land in Boston on Pemberton Hill (i.e. Cotton Hill), from Tremont Street (opposite Court Street) to Somerset Street, including the former house of William Vassall (built c. 1758).

Gordon Hamersley

Four years later, he and his wife opened the Hamersley's Bistro on Tremont Street where they serve French cuisine.

S.S. Pierce

In 1887 the company moved from the corner of Tremont and Court Streets to Copley Square, into a new building designed by architect S. Edwin Tobey.
