Ted Noffs was the founder of the Wayside Chapel, which was at the time a Methodist ministry (Uniting Church from 1977).

Theodore Delwin "Ted" Noffs (1926–1995) was a Methodist (later Uniting Church) minister, writer and founder of the Ted Noffs Foundation and the Wayside Chapel in Kings Cross, Sydney, in 1964.
She began her acting career in various theatre productions including playing Paola in a production of There's a Girl in My Soup, and she was part of a company at the Wayside Chapel, Sydney.
