The West Cambridge site covers the area between the M11 motorway, Madingley Road, Clerk Maxwell Road and the Coton Footpath.

The William Gates Building, or WGB for short, is a square building that houses the Computer Laboratory at the University of Cambridge, on the University's West Cambridge site in JJ Thomson Avenue south of the Madingley Road in Cambridge, England.
The Magnetic Resonance Research Centre has been situated at the West Cambridge site since it was built in 1997 and houses four Bruker NMR spectrometers in addition to lower field equipment such as Earth's field NMR equipment.
