The show was produced by Trinity Productions at the Trinity TV Studios at Trinity Church at the corner of Broadway and Wall Street in New York City.


1886–87 Argyle F.C. season

The inspiration for the name Argyle is thought to have come from Argyle Terrace, a local street in a suburb of Plymouth called Mutley.

Al Giardello

He is based on Baltimore Police Department Shift Lieutenant Gary D'Addario, a member of the BPD homicide unit described in David Simon's book Homicide: A Year on the Killing Streets which served as the inspiration for the series as a whole.

Aliano

Aliano is probably most famous for being the inspiration for the fictional town of Gagliano in Carlo Levi's book Christ Stopped at Eboli (Italian: Cristo si è fermato a Eboli).

Bam Thwok
