On August 30, 2013, at 1:50 p.m., after playing If You Leave by OMD, KMTT began stunting with a loop of It's The End of the World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine) by R.E.M. until 3:00 p.m., when the station flipped to Rhythmic AC, branded as "Hot 103.7".

KJR-FM

Clear Channel bought the station in May 2002, and on May 29 at 6 PM, after playing "Last Dance" by Donna Summer, the station started stunting with "Quick 96", where the station played 1200 10-second clips of certain songs from any given genre.

KMJM-FM

At 12 PM local time on October 30, 2009, after playing Boyz II Men's End of the Road, KATZ-FM began stunting with Halloween music as "Halloween 100.3".

KZON

On June 21, 2007, at 5 PM, during the Tom Leykis show, CBS Radio decided to pull the plug and began stunting with an effeminate male, known as "Ronaldo", playing all-Paris Hilton music in an attempt to demand for the release of her from jail (she was serving a brief jail sentence at the time).

After just two weeks with the Radio Disney format, the station then began stunting with a loop of "Hungry Like the Wolf" by Duran Duran and then an all hair band format, before finally settling on August 28, 2009 on a country music format at 4pm as "Wolf 105-1".

WPRT-FM

On Tuesday, August 26, 2008, WVNS began stunting with teaser formats devoting to just one recording artist, starting with "102.5 Frank FM. All Frank, All the Time" playing nothing but songs featuring Frank Sinatra.

WRKN

On January 3, 2014, at 9 AM, after playing "No Sleep till Brooklyn" by The Beastie Boys, WRKN began stunting with a "Wheel of Formats", with the launch of a new format on January 6 at 9:23 AM.

WRVF

A few years later the station began stunting by playing "Friends in Low Places" by Garth Brooks with a man with a southern voice announcing that something new was coming to WLQR on Monday.

In 1996, Big Dog 95 began stunting with Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven" and Elton John’s “Rocket Man.” A few days later, the station was relaunched as “Modern Rock 95-7, The Rocket,” featuring an Alternative rock format with the newly syndicated, and locally popular, Bob & Tom Show anchoring mornings.

The station began stunting as "Kung Pao 100.5 FM", playing "Classic Chinese Hits" (traditional Chinese instrumentals).
