Dharam Das, who, after initiation, became Dharam Singh, took part in the battles of Anandpur.
Khande Di Pahul was initiated in the times of Guru Gobind Singh when Khalsa was inaugurated at Sri Anandpur Sahibon the day of Baisakhi in 1699.
