When Ka-Blog! went off the air, Torres concentrated for a while in her studies she's taking up Communication Arts in University of Santo Tomas and in commercial modelling.

On July 30, 2012, GMA Network announces that Torres together with Mikael Daez will reprise the role of Cecilia Fulgencio and Carlos Miguel Altamonte which originally played by Tanya Garcia and Dingdong Dantes, respectively, for the 2012 remake of the 2002 popular teledrama Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga.
