They deployed the antenna for the Radio Technical System for Information Transfer, an experimental system designed to enable large data files to be downlinked using radio technology at a speed of about 100 MB/s from space station's Russian segment.

The broadband service offers the following speeds: ADSL (200 Kbps, 500 Kbps, 1 Mbps, 2 Mbps, 4 Mbps, 10 Mbps, 15 Mbps and 20 Mbps), Wi-Fi (up to 11 Mbps) and Fiber-Optic (1 Gbps, only available for Uberlândia and within a distance of 1 km from the company's headquarters).
The download-only package is a .zip file containing a 192kbit/s encoded .mp3 file, a 6-minute QuickTime slide-show of black-and-white photographs set to ambient sounds, and a PDF of the CD insert.
