Performers fly in from Pearson, as well the island airport on nearby Toronto Islands, and so fly over the downtown area, with staging and holding primarily from Dufferin across to Jarvis and up to Bloor.
North of Steeles Avenue, it effectively becomes a York Region Transit route, and additional YRT fares apply.

It is located on the west side of Dufferin Street, between Sylvan Avenue and Croatia Street (formerly Awde Street), south of the intersection of Bloor Street West, on the site of a former race track, in the Brockton Village neighbourhood.
The current building, dating to 1907-8 and overlooking Dufferin Street, is noted for its distinctive design, based on the architecture of the Hagia Sophia of Constantinople.
One of the longest lasting celebrations on St. Clair Ave was when Italy won the 1982 FIFA World Cup, which lasted from around 3:30 p.m. until around 2:30 a.m. It was estimated about half a million Italians celebrated, which involved Dufferin street to be closed (between Davenport and Rogers Roads).
