The Dwarakadheesh temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Krishna, who is worshipped here by the name Dwarkadhish, or 'King of Dwarka'.

It is said that the idol was hidden for years to protect it from invaders while another idol was brought from the Rukmini temple and installed in its absence.
