He was Rivers' manager for most of their marriage and was a producer on The Late Show Starring Joan Rivers, on the newly formed Fox Television Network.
Rivers was born Melissa Warburg Rosenberg in Manhattan on January 20, 1968, the only child of Joan Rivers and Edgar Rosenberg.
When Rivers challenged Fox executives who wanted to fire her husband Edgar Rosenberg as the show's executive producer, the network fired them both.
