The 1960 European Cup Final was the fifth final in the history of the European Cup, and was contested between Real Madrid of Spain and Eintracht Frankfurt of Germany.
After two seasons with Azzurri he was given the opportunity of a trial at German first division side Eintracht Frankfurt, but found no further consideration there.
He subsequently played the 1989 season for Eintracht Frankfurt in the German Bundesliga, and after a season off, parts of two seasons as a player-coach for the minor league San Diego Gulls before retiring.
He has won several national titles (including the 1968 German Team Championships with Eintracht Frankfurt), took part in several international tournaments, such as Beaulieu and Cannes Championships, and represented Germany in the main draw of the 1971 French Open – Men's Singles competition at Roland Garros, Paris.
In 2005, Vesmadian signed with DJK Munchen in the German Regional League before transferring to Eintracht Frankfurt.
