First Encirclement Campaign against Hubei–Henan–Shaanxi Soviet

The First Encirclement Campaign against the Hubei-Henan-Shaanxi Soviet was a campaign launched by the Chinese Nationalist Government intended to destroy Communist Party of China's Hubei-Henan-Shaanxi Soviet and its local Red Army.

This final nationalist defeat marked the end of the First Encirclement Campaign against Hubei-Henan-Sichuan Soviet.


15th Airborne Corps

The airborne divisions were located as follows: the 43rd Division stationed in Kaifeng, Henan (zhwiki: 127th and 128th Airborne Infantry and 129th Airborne Artillery Regiments), and the 44th and 45th Divisions also in the Wuhan area at Guangshui and Huangpi.

On August 1, the brigade's Headquarters moved to Kaifeng, Henan Province, which were designated as the division's training bases.
