Teplice is the second largest spa town in the Czech Republic, Teplice is also known for FK Teplice, the local football team playing the first Czech Division.

The village is home to football club FK Drnovice, which took part in the Gambrinus liga for 10 seasons between 1993 and 2005, although as of 2012 the club is only involved in amateur competition.
