International Children's Festival

The International Children’s Festival, presented by Meridian International Center Educational Outreach Programs, is an interactive and educational fair that brings the community together with the diplomatic corps of Washington, D.C. Diplomatic embassies host booths about their country and culture intended to introduce children and their families to world geography, dress, and traditions through displays and activities.


Edinburgh People's Festival

Since 2002 the People's Festival has presented shows in Saughton Prison, Edinburgh's Royal Infirmary, the Scottish Parliament, The Stand Comedy Club, Woodburn Miners Welfare, the BMC Club in Gorgie, Artspace in Craigmillar and the North Edinburgh Arts Centre as well as community centres in the North, South, East and West of the city.

Holder's Festival

Founded in 1993 by Wendy Madeleine Kidd (the mother of models Jodie Kidd and Jemma Kidd), this Caribbean arts festival is now held annually in Barbados during March and April at Holder's House, an old plantation mansion set in extensive grounds, just inland from Sandy Lane Bay, Barbados.

Other unique or one-off performances have included the world première of a new opera by Stewart Copeland.

HoneyComing

Another manga, this time a four-panel comic strip, drawn by Yuki Kiriga, was serialized in ASCII Media Works' Dengeki G's Magazine between February 2007 and January 2008; the manga transferred to Dengeki G's Festival! Comic in April 2008 and ran until April 2009.

Immigrant's Festival

As part of the 2005 spectacles, artists of national repute, such Árbol, Turf, Airbag, Memphis la Blusera, Soledad Pastorutti,m and invited singers from neighbouring countries like Paraguay and Brazil will appear in the Norgus Jacob—such performances will be in addition to the ballet groups and the collectivities.

International Children's Digital Library

Funding initially came from the National Science Foundation and the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

In April 2006, the International Children's Digital Library became part of the newly formed International Children's Digital Library Foundation, a non-profit corporation under the leadership of Tim Browne as Executive Director and original project leaders Dr. Allison Druin, Dr. Ben Bederson, and Dr. Ann Weeks as Directors.

The Library's principal support comes from the Library of Congress, National Science Foundation, the Institute of Museum and Library Services, and Microsoft Research.

International Children's Festival at Wolf Trap

The International Children's Festival is sponsored by the Arts Council of Fairfax County in cooperation with the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts and the National Park Service.

Radio Warwick

Radio Warwick provided a special broadcast service for the International Children's Games held in Coventry in July 2005, and was named the official broadcaster for this period.

The Kite Fighters

Young-sup's growing expertise in flying kites and Kee-sup's craft in making them draw the attention of the boy-king of Korea, modeled after King Songjong, and they become friends with the king outside of the ancient protocol and secretly represent him for the kite-fighting competition during the New Year's festival.
