Route 28 begins Interstate 44 at exit 163 at the eastern edge of St. Robert, runs north through Dixon, and then runs north out of the county.

Route 133 runs north from Interstate 44 exit 145 about two miles east of Hazelgreen to Richland, Swedeborg, Crocker, and about two miles west of Dixon, then north out of the county.
Both stations share studios on Memorial Drive and East 27th Street South (near Interstate 44) in the southeast section of Tulsa, and its transmitter located between East 93rd Street South and the Muskogee Turnpike in southeastern Tulsa County (near Broken Arrow).
Route 7 runs north from Interstate 44 exit 150 about three miles west of Buckhorn to Richland, then north out of the county toward the Lake of the Ozarks region.

South of Interstate 44, Highway 17 hugs the western edge of Fort Leonard Wood, passes near Laquey, and circles south of the post until it runs out of the county and eventually joins Highway 32 in Roby.

Route 17 crosses Interstate 44 at exit 153 at Buckhorn, runs east through Waynesville, turns north to Crocker, and then runs north out of the county to Iberia.
Highway 266 arcs to the north to bypass the port, and then straightens out to run due east to Interstate 44 (the Will Rogers Turnpike).
It travels south a little over 5 miles to a junction with Oklahoma State Highway 10 on the east side of Miami, Oklahoma At this junction is also an entrance/exit ramp for Interstate 44/The Will Rogers Turnpike.
The city of Springfield itself has also experienced a tourism bump because of the team, actively encouraging St. Louis-area fans to drive down Interstate 44 to Springfield and see local attractions or the Lake of the Ozarks as well as a "Baby Birds" game.
