Farrington High School

The 26 acre (100,000 m²) campus, which is located at 1564 North King Street, Honolulu, is bounded on the north by Interstate H-1, on the west by Kalihi Street, and on the east by Houghtailing Street.

Haiku Valley

The valley was the site of a United States Navy radio transmitting station (later taken over by the Coast Guard as an OMEGA Navigation System station) and is part of the route of Hawaii's Interstate H-3.

Interstate H-1

At this point, the highway runs along a viaduct above state route 92 (Nimitz Highway), passing to the north of Honolulu International Airport.

Lisa Matsumoto

Matsumoto was driving her green 1997 Toyota Camry at about 3:32 AM on 14 December on Interstate H-1 the wrong way on the Waianae-bound side of the highway when she collided head-on with a black 1998 Toyota Corolla travelling in the correct direction.
