The control point is connected with MTR's Lo Wu Station, whereas the Luohu Port is connected to Shenzhen Railway Station Plaza, Luohu Commercial City and Shenzhen Railway Station, as well as Shenzhen Metro's Luohu Station.
Like Lo Wu Station, this station is located in the Frontier Closed Area, hence access is restricted to passengers with a permit or a passport and visa to mainland China.
Passengers wishing not to enter the Boundary Area illegally by proceeding to Lo Wu or Lok Ma Chau without a Closed Area Permit, valid passport and visa, or without the intention of crossing over to Shenzhen must disembark here.
