Luca Kleve-Ruud

NOTOC Luca Kleve-Ruud (born 27 April 1978 in Pescara, Italy) is a Norwegian press photographer, based in Oslo.

He is currently working for Dagens Næringsliv, Save the Children, and Samfoto/Scanpix, but has done several assignments for Red Cross, Amnesty and others.


Birger Ruud

In 1987, a bronze sculpture of Birger Ruud, by the Norwegian sculptor Per Ung, was set up in Ruud’s native town of Kongsberg, and in 1991 he was awarded the Egebergs Ærespris for his achievements in ski jumping and alpine skiing.

Stanisław Marusarz

His best chance came at the 1938 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti where he struggled to win over famous Ruud brothers: (Birger, Sigmund, and Asbjørn).

Marusarz made the two best jumps in competition of 66 and 67 meters, earning him a total of 226.2 points, but the judges gave him much lower style scores than his rival (and friend) Asbjørn Ruud, the youngest of the three Ruud brothers - who jumped 63.5 and 64 m.

Sylvia Kristel

In May 2006, Kristel received an award at the Tribeca Film Festival, New York for directing the animated short film Topor and Me, written by Ruud Den Dryver.
