Prose's novel, The Glorious Ones, has been adapted into a musical with the same title by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty.
She has directed and/or choreographed several musicals of Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, including, most recently, The Glorious Ones (2007) and Dessa Rose (2005) at the Off-Broadway Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater at Lincoln Center.
The modern musical Seussical by Flaherty and Ahrens also has several songs written in these extreme keys.
The musical is directed by Alex Timbers, with boxing choreography by Steven Hoggett and choreography by Kelly Devine.
