Chatuchak Weekend Market

Chatuchak market is adjacent to the Kamphaengphet station of the MRT Blue Line, or about a 5-minute walk from the Mo Chit station of the BTS Skytrain Sukhumvit Line and another MRT station, Chatuchak Park and BMTA .

MRT Blue Line

The project suffered multiple delays not only because of the 1997 economic crisis, but also due to challenging civil engineering works of constructing massive underground structures deep in the water-logged soil upon which the city is built.

On 3 July 2004 the line was officially opened at 19:19 local time by HM King Bhumibol and Queen Sirikit, who were accompanied by other members of the royal family.

Si Lom

Si Lom is also the name of an MRT Blue Line subway system stop at the intersection between Silom, Ratchadamri and Rama IV Road.


Chula-Siam Monorail

First routes planned to start construction around early 2012 along Phaya Thai Road from Sam Yan to Siam Square, connecting Siam Station of BTS Skytrain and Sam Yan Station of MRT Blue Line.
