Mal Pope

On leaving Cambridge, Pope resided in London, under the management of rock promoter Harvey Goldsmith.

He also sang the theme songs of the Welsh children's television shows Fireman Sam (1987), SuperTed (1982), Satellite City (1988) and Joshua Jones (1991).


Studio X

It was replaced in Summer 2006 with "Adam and Mal" a relatively similar show but less chart based with Adam Walton from Mondays to Thursdays and Mal Pope on Fridays.

Tommy Farr

A musical based on Farr's career, Contender, was composed by Mal Pope and premiered at the United Nations building in New York, followed by a season at Swansea's Grand Theatre.
