Clube Esportivo Paysandu, commonly known as Paysandu, was a Brazilian football club based in Brusque, Santa Catarina state.
Pedro Iarley Lima Dantas or simply Iarley (born March 29, 1974 in Quixeramobim, Brazil) is a Brazilian attacking midfielder or forward, who currently signed a contract with Paysandu.
It is able to participate in the Festival of Paysandú in 1973, "which won the award for best voice who knows Eduardo Larbanois, which comprised at that time the duo Los Eduardos with Eduardo Lago.
Located on the intersection of the streets Paysandú and Ciudadela, the temple was built between 1885 and 1890 by engineer Ignacio Pedralbes in a Neo-Baroque eclectic style, inspired in the churches of La Sorbonne and Saint Gervais in Paris.
The current temple was built in 1860, severely damaged during the siege of Paysandú (1864-1865) and rebuilt afterwards.
At its west end is situated the Area Industrial F1 Norte of Paysandú, as well as General Artigas Bridge, which passes over Río Uruguay to join National Road #135 of Entre Ríos Province, Argentina.
Paysandu attracted the world's attention in 2003 after the campaign in the Copa Libertadores, beating several traditional South American teams such as Cerro Porteño and Boca Juniors (at La Bombonera).
