In April 2012 the band announced they'd enter the studio with producer Shane Frisby (Bury Your Dead, The Ghost Inside, Corpus Christi) from May 21-June 18 to record their fifth full length album for Solid State Records.
Architects and Despised Icon were the headling acts for the second Tour together with As Blood Runs Black, Horse the Band, Iwrestledabearonce, The Ghost Inside and Oceano.

Texas in July headlined a follow-on show to Van's Warped Tour 2013 on August 6, 2013 in Birmingham, Alabama with support from Of Empires, Strength from Within, Echoes of Creation, and OMAAF; and are currently providing support to The Devil Wears Prada on their headlining tour (November - December 2013) with additional support from The Ghost Inside and Volumes.
They were featured on The Atticus Metal Tour with Emmure, All Shall Perish, Abacabb, Terror, and The Ghost Inside.
