Caius Bruttius Praesens

He is next heard of in the winter of 114/115, during Trajan’s Parthian war, commanding Legio VI Ferrata, which according to a fragment of the Parthica of Arrian he marched in deep snow (having secured snowshoes from native guides) across the Armenian Taurus to get to Tigranakert.

Legio VI Ferrata

From 54 AD to 68 AD the Sixth Legion Ferrata served under Gnaeus Domitius Corbulo at Artaxata and Tigranocerta against the Parthians.

Rupen Zartarian

Zartarian was born in 1874 in the city of Tigranakert, but moved to Harput (or Kharpert) (Armenian: Խարբերդ) when he was two.
