Walchensee-class tanker

The Walchensee class tanker (Type 703) is a series of four small coastal tankers, built by Lindenau-Werft in Kiel for the German Navy to transport fuel and fresh water between depots and to units near coasts or in harbour.


Single-phase generator

The station takes water from elevated Lake Walchensee to drive eight turbines that drive the generators.

Wave-class tanker

The Wave-class tankers are Royal Fleet Auxiliary "Fast Fleet Tankers" tasked with providing fuel, food, fresh water, ammunition and other supplies to Royal Navy vessels around the world.
