Jadis, the White Witch, took over Narnia 900 years after their reign began and ruled a reign of tyranny for 100 years, but illegitimately (as she was not a Daughter of Eve, but of a race native to Charn), before finally being defeated by Aslan and the Pevensie children, who were then themselves proclaimed Kings and Queens of Narnia.
He has appeared in the BBC's adaptations of four of The Chronicles of Narnia: in 1988, he played the White Witch's dwarf in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, in 1989, he played Trumpkin in Prince Caspian, and again in 1990 in The Silver Chair.
A possible reason for this may be that guitarist Jimmy Page already owned Boleskin House, for many years the home of notorious occultist and white witch Aleister Crowley, near Foyers on the south bank of Loch Ness, and was a frequent visitor to Caithness.

In 1998 he wrote the famous Jamaican story The White Witch of Rose Hall and the world premiere was produced in Jamaica as part of the University of the West Indies 50th anniversary at the Philip Sherlock Centre and directed by Brian Heap.
