Andavadoaka

The reefs around Andavadoaka represent some of the most well-developed coral reef systems in the Indian Ocean.

It is associated with rocky or coral reefs, but is not dependent on them; it is found in the western Atlantic Ocean, from Massachusetts, USA, in the north to southern Brazil, but is particularly associated with the southern Gulf of Mexico, the Florida Keys, the Bahamas and the Caribbean.

Cirolana mercuryi is a species of isopod found on coral reefs off Bawe Island, (Zanzibar, Tanzania) in East Africa and named for Freddie Mercury, "arguably Zanzibar's most famous popular musician and singer".

Emblemariopsis randalli, the Hornless blenny, is a species of chaenopsid blenny found in coral reefs around Cubagua, Venezuela, in the western central Atlantic ocean.
