1896–97 FA Cup

Jimmy Crabtree put Villa back in front just before half-time, and Villa managed to come through the second half without conceding, meaning they had become only the second team ever to win the Double in England.

1993–94 FA Cup

Two penalties by Eric Cantona as well as late goals by Mark Hughes and Brian McClair gave Manchester United a 4-0 triumph over Chelsea after the deadlock was still unbroken at half-time, and saw them become only the sixth club in history to win The double.

Dirk Medved

During his professional career, Genk-born Medved played for K. Waterschei S.V. Thor Genk, K.R.C. Genk, K.A.A. Gent, Club Brugge K.V. – where he was instrumental in the conquest of five domestic trophies, namely the double in 1995–96 – and Standard Liège, totalling 316 games in 14 seasons (ten goals).

Forrest J Ackerman

In 2001 Ackerman played the part of an old wax museum caretaker in the camp comedy film The Double-D Avenger directed by William Winckler and starring Russ Meyer stars Kitten Natividad, Haji, and Raven De La Croix.

Francisco Javier Aguilar García
