Representing the 13th District from 1969−1974, Corts represented the area in and around Lorain.
In 1624–25 there was strong resistance in the Stamenti to the king's request for monies to pay for the ongoing Thirty Years' War, resistance which was also met around the same time in the Parliament of England and the Corts of Catalonia.
The first agreements were arranged between the Vietnamese then-Minister for Education and Training (MOET), Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thien Nhan, and the Hessen State Minister for Higher Education, Research and the Arts (HMWK), Sir Udo Corts.
