unusual facts about 5-MeO-DMT

5-MeO-DMT

It is found in a wide variety of plant and psychoactive toad species and, like its close relatives DMT and bufotenin (5-HO-DMT), it has been used as an entheogen by South American shamans for thousands of years.

5-MeO-aMT

Since the DEA arrests of the makers of a huge percentage of the United States' LSD in 2000, 5-MeO-AMT may have occasionally been sold under the guise of LSD in liquid, sugar cube, or blotter form, though this may be due to DEA reports of finding it on sugar cubes and blotters like LSD.

5-MeO-DPT

Little is known about the subjective effects of 5-MeO-DPT, but the nature of the compound is probably comparable to psilocybin/psilocin, or DPT, which are also psychedelic tryptamines/indoles.

5-MeO-MiPT

The mechanism that produces the hallucinogenic and entheogenic effects of 5-MeO-MiPT is thought to result primarily from MAO may be involved also.

Acacia maidenii

Fitzgerald and Siournis reported in the Australian Journal of Chemistry (1965, volume 18, pp. 433–4) that a sample of the bark contained 0.36% of the hallucinogen DMT as well as 0.24% of N-methyltryptamine.

Alpha-Methyltryptamine

Reported side effects include anxiety, restlessness, muscle tension, jaw tightness, pupil dilation, tachycardia, headaches, nausea, and vomiting, among other effects that might commonly be attributed to LSD, psilocybin, DMT and MDMA, such as delusions and hallucinations.

Botanical identity of soma–haoma

Peganum Harmala contains Harmaline, which is a strong MAO-inhibitor, and it is therefore often used as a 1st component in Ayahuasca ceremonies in order to inhibit the metabolisation of an orally-administered DMT molecule (2nd component).

Data Moving Tool

DMT's scheduler handles 4 configurable scheduling frequencies: Regular Interval, Daily, Weekly and Monthly (e.g. 1st Monday of each month, last day of each month, every 10th of the month, etc.).

Desmanthus illinoensis

Root bark of D. illinoensis has been found to contain N,N-DMT, NMT, N-hydroxy-N-methyltryptamine, 2-hydroxy-N-methyltryptamine, and gramine (toxic).

Kot Ghulam Muhammad

Babbar in kot ghulam muhammad babbar are a huage communities of sindhi brothry,Bhurgari, Talpur, Khaskheli, Jat, Mahars, Sheedi, Laghari, Halepoto, Chelia, Dall, Ramdan,Meo Rajput and QaimRao Rangar live in taluka as majority tribes.

Mimosa tenuiflora

In this view, if MAOI is neither present in the plant nor added to the mixture, the enzyme MAO will break apart DMT in the human gut, preventing the active molecule from entering blood and brain.

Mind's eye

Furthermore, the pineal gland is a hypothetical candidate for producing a mind's eye; Rick Strassman and others have postulated that during near death experiences (NDE's) and dreaming, the gland might secrete a hallucinogenic chemical 'N,N-Dimethyltryptamine' (DMT) to produce internal visuals when external sensory data is occluded.

Professor Charles Nesson is a member of the NEXA Board of Trustees together with another Berkman Center for Internet and Society co-director, Prof. Yochai Benkler, and also with other well known Italian and foreign personalities as Professors Stefano Rodotà, Raffaele Meo and Michelangelo Pistoletto.

Psychedelic drug

Classical or serotonergic psychedelics (agonists for the LSD (also known as "acid"), psilocin (the active constituent of psilocybin mushrooms, commonly known as "magic mushrooms" or "shrooms"), mescaline (the active constituent of peyote), and DMT (the active constituent of ayahuasca and potentially an endogenous psychedelic compound).

Smile, Mom

Jo Bok-hee (Lee Mi-sook) is the mother of three children Shin Dal-rae (Kang Min-kyung), Shin Meo-roo (Lee Jae-hwang) and Shin So-ra (Jung Ji-ahn).

Stephen Szára

In the U.S., he worked with Julius Axelrod and others on the metabolism of DMT and related compounds in healthy and schizophrenic volunteers.
