He has worked regularly with producer Dave Fridmann and has collaborated on recordings with members of Mercury Rev, Joan as Police Woman, The Flaming Lips, Antony and the Johnsons, Favourite Sons, Home, Shady, The Silent League, Hopewell, The Jealous Girlfriends, The Mooney Suzuki, VietNam (band), Mike Bones and others.
He has since worked with a number of musicians including The Apples in Stereo, Luna, Swans, Evan Dando, Sean Lennon, Sebadoh, Heave, Come, Spacehog, Ramones, The Morning Glories, Band of Susans, Danish band Grand Avenue, Phish, The 45's, Akron Family, Dylan Connor, The Spring Standards, and cabaret pop group Antony and the Johnsons.
The album features vocal contributions from Natalie Walker, Merz, Cat Martino, and Ian Masters, and the musical contributors include Kevin O'Donnell, Timothy O'Donnell, Antony and the Johnsons' members Julia Kent and Maxim Moston, CJ Camerieri, David Shaw and Roger Eno.
"Epilepsy is Dancing" is the first single from Antony and the Johnsons' 2009 album The Crying Light, released on April 6 (April 7 in the US) licenced through Secretly Canadian (worldwide), and Rough Trade (Europe).
