The station was founded on June 24, 2002, by its president and CEO, former vice-mayor and current provincial board member Dino Reyes-Chua of Cavite.
He also became the Franchise Owner of Padis Point Restaurant in Cavite, Co-owner of Culture Club in Eastwood City, Libis, Co-Owner of ClubV Ultimate bar in Mile Long, Makati, Executive Producer of Delta Records Corp. and Developer / President of DeltaLand Realty Corporation (Owner of Villa Tanza Executive Homes).

He is also the Co-Founder of another FM Radio Station in Metro Manila (BLAZIN'105.9 FM) which later became U-Radio and Radio high 105.9 in partnership with the legendary Ramon "RJ" Jacinto.
It was co-owned and operated by Philippine Hip Hop Awards organizer Empire Entertainment and Cavite politician Dino Chua's Chua Broadcasting Network (also the owner of Cavite station 91.9 The Bomb FM).
Codiñera is also the first nominee of the Party-list ng Bayaning Atleta (PBA), the party-list founded by People's Champ Manny Pacquiao and Cavite Young Politician Dino Carlo Chua in the 2007 elections.
