Hoffmann left much of the interior decoration for the Palais Stoclet to the painter Gustav Klimt and the artist Fernand Khnopff.
The scenery at the premiere was designed by Albert Dubosq and the Symbolist painter Fernand Khnopff; it was executed by Dubosq's atelier together with Chausson's brother-in-law Henri Lerolle and under the supervision of Chausson's widow.

The Eva and Brian Sweeney Collection currently consists of about 500 works by artists such as Monet, Sisley, Pissarro, Klimt, Khnopff, Alma-Tadema, Klee, Kandinsky, Mondrian, Cornell, Rauschenberg, Doig, Zach Houston, Warhol, Close and Estes.
